Amy Winehouse sues ex mother-in-law over love note
UK rocker Amy Winehouse, 25, has sued her former mother-in-law for selling a love letter she penned for ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil. Bad boy Fielder-Civil was spending time in prison for assault when the steamy note was written. Winehouse alleges his mother, Georgette, sold the letter. Winehouse in her legal action alleges copyright infringement and seeks £50,000 in damages. A friend said: “Amy was furious the private letter was used to make money.” Amy married Blake, 27, in 2007
